In celebration of the 500^th anniversary of the coronation of Francis I of France, six musicians, two singers and four dancers revive the atmosphere of the great festivities once held in the Kings court during the 16^th century. With music, singing, dancing and sumptuous costumes, Doulce Mémoire transports you back to the Kings court to enjoy celebrations that are filled with surprises.

ABOUT DOULCE MEMOIRE ENSEMBLE

Founded by French flutist Denis Raisin Dadre in 1989, with the aim of presenting music heard by brilliant artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and Raphael, the French ensemble Doulce Mémoire represents the spirit of the Renaissance period (XV^th and XVI^th centuries) – a time of voyages and discovery, inventiveness and creativity. This close-knit team of musicians and singers has been involved in artistic ventures of a constantly innovative nature, with the regular participation of actors and dancers.
